There’s a phrase I hear often from women in recovery: “I feel like my life is a train wreck.” And honestly? When someone says that, I don’t hear weakness. I hear exhaustion. I hear someone who has been carrying shame, stress, grief, survival mode, disappointment, and emotional chaos for so long that they can no longer see the possibility of anything different.
